ZF Electronics, a global leader in driveline and chassis technologies, purchased TRW Automotive on May 20, 2015. The firm presently has 230 offices in 40 different countries. In the Electronic Systems business area, the Industrial Solutions (IS) product line develops and produces electromechanical components, such as snap switches, panel-mount switches, rocker and sealed rocker switches, a comprehensive range of sensor goods, and Energy Harvesting wireless devices. Target customers of the Industrial Solutions product line include home appliances, HVAC, medical equipment and non-automotive equipment such as agricultural and commercial appliances, power sports vehicles (including sea and RV) oEMs and distributors.
